Whether you're newly licensed or building the foundation of your legal career, the Oklahoma County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is here to help you thrive.

The YLD provides opportunities to build meaningful professional relationships, develop leadership skills, give back to the community, and connect with fellow attorneys navigating many of the same experiences and challenges. From networking events and CLE programs to community service projects and leadership opportunities, the YLD is designed to help you grow both personally and professionally.

The Young Lawyers Division exists to encourage professional excellence, cultivate future leaders, promote service to our community, and strengthen connections among the next generation of Oklahoma County attorneys.

Who Can Join?

Membership in the Young Lawyers Division is open to all attorneys who are 40 years of age or younger or who have been admitted to practice for 10 years or less.

Whether you're a solo practitioner, work in a firm, serve in government, practice in-house, or are still finding your niche, there's a place for you in the YLD.

Get Involved

The best way to experience the YLD is to jump in. We welcome you to attend one of our YLD Board meetings which occur the third Wednesday of every month at 12pm, or attend an event, volunteer at a service project, join a committee, or simply introduce yourself at one of our networking gatherings. There's no expectation that you have experience—we're always excited to welcome new members and help you find a place to get involved.
